Renesas Appoints New Leaders In India, China

From India’s engineering talent to China’s vast technology market, Renesas reshapes its leadership and expansion plans with Malini Narayanamoorthi and Yvonne Liu at the helm.

Renesas Electronics Corporation has announced new leadership appointments in India and China, effective 1 March 2026, as part of its strategy to expand in two of Asia’s most significant technology markets.

Malini Narayanamoorthi

Malini Narayanamoorthi has been appointed Vice President and President of Renesas Electronics India. Previously, India Country Manager and Vice President of MID Engineering within the Analog & Mixed Signal Product Group, she has overseen the company’s growth in India through customer engagement and engineering initiatives.

In her expanded role, Narayanamoorthi will lead strategic programmes to harness India’s technology ecosystem and engineering talent.

Yvonne Liu

Simultaneously, Yvonne Liu has been named Vice President and President of Renesas Electronics China. Liu brings 26 years of semiconductor industry experience across automotive, consumer, industrial, IoT and cybersecurity sectors. She joins Renesas from NXP Semiconductors, where she was Vice President and General Manager of Greater China Automotive.

At Renesas, Liu will direct operations in China, focusing on customer partnerships and growth in one of the world’s most competitive technology markets.

According to the company, both executives will report directly to Hidetoshi Shibata, Chief Executive Officer of Renesas.

“India and China continue to represent major long‑term growth markets for Renesas,” noted Shibata.

“With Malini and Yvonne in these leadership roles, we are well positioned to deepen customer relationships, enhance execution, and strengthen our competitiveness across these important geographies,” he said.
