Assuming the role of Global Marketing and Business Development Executive in RIR Power Electronics, Perry Schugart eyes to supercharge global growth, banking on his SiC expertise and track record.
RIR Power Electronics Limited, a manufacturer of high-power semiconductor devices, has appointed Perry Schugart as its Global Marketing and Business Development Executive. According to the company, this move aligns with its ambition to bolster its international presence in the sector.
Schugart brings over two decades of experience in steering growth strategies and enhancing profitability across both small enterprises and global companies.
Notably, during his tenure at Microchip Technology’s silicon carbide (SiC) business unit, he was instrumental in augmenting brand visibility and securing orders exceeding $500 million. Prior to his role at Microchip, Schugart held senior leadership positions at Silicon Power Corporation, Inficon, ABB, and American Superconductor Corporation (AMSC).

As of April 16, 2025, the company boasts a market capitalisation of ₹18 billion. The it recently established an SiC semiconductor manufacturing plant in Odisha.
