From EY to embedded computing, Torsten Blaschke steps in as congatec’s CFO, to steer the financial strategy and strengthen global expansion in edge technologies.
congatec, the embedded and edge computing technology provider, has appointed Torsten Blaschke as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening its executive team as it pursues global growth.
Blaschke joins CEO Dominik Ressing and COO and CTO Konrad Garhammer on the leadership team. He brings extensive management experience, having most recently served as Group CFO at Doctari Group, and nearly two decades in senior roles at EY.
In his new role, Blaschke will oversee financial strategy and support the company’s international expansion. “My goal is to further strengthen congatec, establish new business models, and steadily increase profitability,” he said.
CEO Dominik Ressing welcomed the appointment, noting: “With his many years of leadership experience in international organisations, Torsten adds valuable strategic and financial expertise to our innovation and technology strengths. He will support us in addressing markets in a more targeted manner and in building sustainable business models that deliver even greater value to our customers.”
COO & CTO Konrad Garhammer added that Blaschke’s expertise would help expand congatec’s aReady portfolio, which includes application-ready hardware, software, and services. “This will enable us to provide our embedded computing customers with more and easier-to-use value-added offerings in areas such as AI, security, and ruggedness,” he said.
