The appointment comes as India continues to witness rapid industrialisation, significant infrastructure investments
Henkel has recently announced the appointment of Pradhyumna Ingle as its new Country President for India.
Based in Navi Mumbai, Ingle will lead Henkel’s growth agenda in India, strengthen its market presence, and accelerate innovation across the company’s businesses.
Ingle will continue to handle his global positions as Global Head – Infrastructure Protection & Repair and IMEA Head – Manufacturing & Maintenance within Henkel Adhesive Technologies, as before.
The appointment comes as India continues to witness rapid industrialisation, significant infrastructure investments, and expanding consumer demand, creating new opportunities for business growth and technological innovation.
He has more than 25 years of international leadership experience across India, Asia Pacific, North America, and the Middle East & Africa. He has played a huge role in fueling business expansion, leading acquisitions, building high-performing teams, and advancing digital transformation initiatives.
He succeeds S. Sunil Kumar, who led Henkel India for the past five years. Kumar will relocate to Dubai to take on expanded responsibilities overseeing strategic projects across the IMEA region while continuing in his role as Director Packaging – IMEA.
Commenting on the appointment, Henkel’s IMEA President Ashraf Elafifi highlighted India’s importance to the company’s global growth strategy and expressed confidence in Ingle’s ability to lead the next phase of expansion. Ingle said he looks forward to strengthening Henkel’s innovation capabilities and supporting sustainable growth across key sectors in India.
