Fischer will drive Q.ANT global brand strategy strengthening stakeholder communications and elevating visibility as its photonic computing platform scales worldwide.
Q.ANT has appointed Kim Fischer as Vice President Marketing and Communications, strengthening its management team as the company accelerates international growth. Fischer joined the photonic computing specialist on 1 February 2026 and will lead the strategic development of Q.ANT’s global brand and market positioning.
In her new role, Fischer will be responsible for strengthening communications with investors, customers, partners and the media, while raising the company’s profile as it scales its photonic computing platform worldwide. The appointment supports Q.ANT’s ambition to expand its presence in high performance computing and artificial intelligence markets with a strong focus on energy efficiency.
Dr Michael Förtsch, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Q.ANT, said Fischer stood out for her ability to translate technological leadership into clear market positioning in an international environment. He added that this capability would be a key driver of the company’s continued growth as demand for sustainable computing solutions increases globally.
Fischer brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic corporate and brand development, building new business areas and positioning future focused technologies in international markets. Her background includes senior roles spanning corporate and product communications, brand management and transformation initiatives across technology, services and trade fair organisations.
Commenting on her appointment, Fischer said Q.ANT’s photonic processors have the potential to fundamentally reshape the future of computing and artificial intelligence.
