Mumbai-based EV manufacturer Rilox EV has opened its new showroom in Prayagraj. The retail space was inaugurated on Saturday, marking Rilox’s 76th location across the country.
The Prayagraj showroom features a wide range of products, from electric scooters to bikes, catering to both personal and commercial needs. During the opening event, visitors also had the opportunity to test the performance and sustainability of the vehicles.
The company noted that the choice of the location for the launch underscores the growing push towards cleaner transportation in Uttar Pradesh. The company is also planning showrooms in other cities across UP, such as Varanasi, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Kaushambi.
Speaking at the inauguration, Avesh Memon, founder and CEO of Rilox EV, expressed his excitement about the warm reception and growing interest in clean transportation. He noted, “This marks a new chapter in our journey to bring sustainable mobility to every corner of India, a testament to the growing demand for clean and efficient transportation solutions.”
The inauguration ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries, including Ganesh Kesarwani, Mayor of Prayagraj, MP Parveen Patel, and other local leaders.
Rilox EV’s expansion into Uttar Pradesh follows successful openings in several other Indian states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. The brand also plans future showrooms in Hyderabad and Jaipur as part of its larger aim to lead the electric mobility sector across India.
