Rohde & Schwarz Inaugurates New Bengaluru Facility

CTO Andreas Pauly expressed Rohde & Schwarz’s interest in contributing to the Make in India initiative through its large team of highly skilled engineers.

Rohde & Schwarz has inaugurated a new facility centre in Bengaluru’s Manyata Tech Park, housing R&D, system integration, and calibration and repair services. 

The calibration and repair service centre is ISO 9001 and ISO17025 (NABL) accredited to meet the industry’s rigorous quality standards for precision services. In addition, the facility will house sales, applications, systems integration, and a dedicated demo display area to showcase various test and measurement equipment and test solutions.

With this latest opening, the test and measurement solutions provider intends to increase its presence in Bangalore. The R&D team in Bangalore is involved in developing the next-generation solutions for the company’s Test and Measurement Division across the automotive, telecom, semiconductor, electronics, aerospace and defence sectors.

While inaugurating the new offices, Andreas Pauly, Rohde & Schwarz’s President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), expressed the company’s interest in contributing to the Make in India initiative through a large team of highly skilled engineers. “We are proud to expand our presence in Bengaluru. For Rohde & Schwarz, India is not merely a growth market but a vital component of our global strategy,” he said.

Yatish Mohan, Managing Director of Rohde & Schwarz India, highlighted the company’s role in boosting technological advancement in India through strategic partnerships with government agencies, training institutes and technology firms. “Our presence spans multiple locations throughout the country, across tier-II cities directly and via our extensive channel partner network, to facilitate innovation in the electronics, semiconductor, automotive and telecommunications sectors.”

Rohde & Schwarz India’s head office is in New Delhi, and the company has branch offices in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The company has invested heavily in increasing local support capability and providing a fully automated calibration facility for most products sold. This addition reinforces Rohde & Schwarz’s commitment to delivering high-quality products and services to its customers across India and beyond.
