Rohit Tikku Takes The Helm As CEO At Bluebird Solar

With a career spanning 17 years and a diverse background spanning various domains, including Sales, Distribution Management, and Business Operations, Rohit is on a mission to make solar energy the primary source of power, revolutionizing the clean and affordable energy landscape. 

Rohit Tikku, a visionary leader and expert in the renewable energy sector within the sub-continent, has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Bluebird Solar, a prominent solar panel manufacturer in the country. With a diverse career spanning 17 years, Mr. Tikku has amassed experience across various domains, including Sales, Distribution Management, Engineering & Project Management, and Business Operations & Development, with a strong expertise in Business Turnaround.

Prior to his tenure as CEO at Bluebird Solar, Mr. Tikku served as the Assistant Vice President (AVP) (Product & EPC) at the esteemed solar manufacturing firm, Vikram Solar. Besides Vikram Solar, he boasts over a decade of involvement in the renewable energy sector, having worked with renowned organizations such as Reliance Industries Limited and Trina Solar. He expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It is an excellent opportunity for me to be part of the C-suite at an esteemed organization like Bluebird Solar. As CEO, I am committed to the passionate pursuit of making solar energy the primary source of power, replacing polluting and non-renewable energy sources. My goal is to foster innovative technologies, offer sustainable energy solutions, and empower communities, thereby positioning the industry at the forefront of the clean and affordable energy landscape.”

Bluebird Solar, a subsidiary of Bluebird Stabilizers, a distinguished power conditioning brand with over four decades of significant market presence, has transitioned from its origins as a solar product trader to become one of the leading solar panel manufacturers in the country. It now stands among the Top 5 Manufacturers in North India and has received recognition for its top-tier module efficiency in ALMM by MNRE for M10 bifacial Half-Cut solar modules. Additionally, the company offers an industry-leading 30-year warranty on its complete M10 Half-Cut solar module range.

Director of Bluebird Solar, Akshay Mittal, commented on Mr. Rohit Tikku’s appointment, saying, “Mr. Rohit Tikku is a leading expert in the field and possesses a wealth of industry experience as a team builder. In his role as CEO of Bluebird Solar, Mr. Tikku is tasked with formulating the business strategy and long-term vision for Modules & EPC Solutions, as well as overseeing the organization’s P&L. His responsibilities also include spearheading critical initiatives aimed at driving business growth in the Utility segment, C&I Segment, and expanding market share as leading solar module manufacturers and EPC players in the Indian sub-continent and worldwide.
