Ryder Launches Combined Electric Vehicle & Charging Capabilities

Ryder unveiled RyderElectric+ as a new turnkey EV fleet solution offering combined EV & charging capabilities that claim to make EV solutions easier for customers

A leading player in the supply chain, dedicated transportation, and fleet management solutions, Ryder System recently unveiled RyderElectric+TM as its new turnkey electric vehicle (EV) fleet solution. In an officially released statement, the company noted that its solution will partner with customers throughout the full journey of fleet electrification and will serve as a centralized source for Ryder’s best-in-class fleet-management services in financing, facility infrastructure, charging, and maintenance for commercial EVs.

Adding further, it said that electrification advisors are designed to help customers assess vehicle fit, estimate potential emission reduction and total cost impact, evaluate charging service requirements, provide guidance on the availability of potential grants, and build out an EV transition roadmap.

As per the company, its new offering navigates the EV landscape for customers and provides electrification advisors, vehicles, charging, telematics, and maintenance all for one price.

“By combining our expertise, advisory services, and relationships with vehicle manufacturers and charging companies, as well as our integration with telematics providers, we help companies build and maintain an electric fleet that fits their needs. We aim to help make the integration of electric vehicles as seamless as possible by offering solutions that are streamlined through one provider at one cost,” stated Karen Jones, CMO and head of new product innovation at Ryder.

Group director for the company’s advanced vehicle technology, Carlo Rodriguez commented, “As demand and adoption of commercial EVs continue to accelerate across the transportation and logistics industries, this latest offering provides Ryder customers with an end-to-end solution for zero-emission commercial fleet management, deployment, fueling, and maintenance.”
