Sahasra Electronic Solutions Inks Pact With InnoCare Optoelectronics To Manufacture Flat Panel Detectors

This collaboration combines Sahasra’s expertise in electronic system design and manufacturing with InnoCare’s specialization in X-ray flat panel sensor technology.

To strengthen India’s global growth in electronics manufacturing, Sahasra Electronic Solutions, India’s electronics design and manufacturing firm, has collaborated with Taiwan’s InnoCare Optoelectronics Corporation to manufacture and service Flat Panel Detectors (FPDs) for X-ray equipment. This collaboration combines Sahasra’s expertise in electronic system design and manufacturing with InnoCare’s specialization in X-ray flat panel sensor technology. 

Founded in 2020, Sahasra Electronic Solutions offers various services, including PCB fabrication, electronic manufacturing services, memory products, consumer and enterprise IT hardware, semiconductor packaging, smart LED lighting, and smart cards. The company exports to over ten countries and supplies major Indian and global companies. On the other hand, InnoCare Optoelectronics Corp., founded in April 2019 in Taiwan, specializes in designing and developing X-ray flat panel sensors. The company is recognized as a global leader in integrating Thin Film Transistor Photodiodes (TFT-PD) and scintillator processes for X-ray TFT sensors.

The agreement was signed by Eric Lee, President of InnoCare Optoelectronics Corp., and Varun Manwani, Director of Sahasra Electronic Solutions Limited, with James Yang, President of Innolux Corporation, in attendance. These developments highlight the mutual benefits of Taiwan’s technological expertise and India’s expanding market, fostering a robust partnership poised to capitalize on the projected market growth by 2030.

The partnership between InnoCare Optoelectronics Corp. and Sahasra Electronic Solutions marks a significant step in strengthening Indo-Taiwanese alliances within the electronics industry. By pooling their specialized expertise, both companies are well-positioned to advance technological innovation for the global market and specifically to cater to India’s burgeoning electronics sector. This collaboration highlights a shared commitment to fostering excellence and driving sustainable growth in the industry, aiming to shape the future of electronics with advanced, eco-conscious solutions.

As the nation is now augmenting domestic manufacturing, design, and production of end-to-end electronic products, there is a $15 billion opportunity for Taiwanese firms across numerous sectors such as printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic components and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure.
