From design benches to production floors, engineers worldwide gain faster access as Same Sky partners with Farnell to unlock global distribution across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Same Sky has signed a worldwide distribution agreement with Farnell, extending the availability of its product portfolio across Europe, Asia and the Americas. The deal will see Farnell distribute Same Sky’s audio, interconnect and thermal management components, with regional coverage provided through Farnell in EMEA, Newark in North America and element14 in Asia Pacific.
Farnell, acquired by Avnet in 2016, operates in 60 countries and has more than eight decades of experience in the sector. The distributor offers over 950,000 products from 2,000 manufacturers, serving more than two million customer contacts across 150 industries.
The partnership is expected to strengthen Same Sky’s reach and improve local support for customers worldwide.
Dave Carroll, Vice President of Product Management at Same Sky, said: “This strengthens the expansion of regional distribution, inventory availability, and local support for customers across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.”
He added, “By working closely with one of the industry’s leading high-service distributors, we’re improving access to Same Sky solutions and helping engineers move from design-in to production with greater speed and confidence.”
The agreement positions Same Sky to leverage Farnell’s established infrastructure and customer base, while Farnell broadens its offering with additional component lines. Both companies emphasise that the collaboration is designed to support engineers and manufacturers by ensuring faster delivery and wider access to essential parts.
Same Sky also aims to consolidate its presence in international markets and provide consistent support to customers engaged in design and production.
