Samsung eyes to develop 5G smartphones in the affordable category to get ahead of its China-based
South Korea-based Samsung Electronics is planning to get ahead of its competitors like Apple and China-based smartphone makers with its all-new 5G smartphone range. The product is said to be in the development phase but according to reports, Samsung is discussing to develop its Galaxy S10 with Verizon Communications Inc. with a fifth-generation wireless chipset. This will be the company’s flagship model with three versions to cater to the affordability factor of its users.
Samsung to take on its competitors
The South Korean electronics major wants to get ahead of the Chinese smartphone brands that have become one of the topmost preferences in the market because of their unique features and designs. Samsung plans to take on the brands with its new product by offering new features, including flexibility of its smartphone to increase its market share. Experts have pointed out that the company will be focusing on its designs and hardware expertise. It also aims to expand its portfolio by innovating and investing in newer technologies.
Samsung Galaxy S10
This new product of Samsung has three versions – Beyond, Winner and an affordable version. The flagship product is said to be flaunting an OLED screen curved on both sides with round-shaped corners. It has triple cameras on the back. It has a fingerprint sensor under its display. The versions will be having features depending on the costs. It is also said to be working on the flip-feel that used to come earlier. Samsung is in talks with Google to develop a special version of Android OS for S10.
