SCHURTER SHF Fuse 6.3×32 is now available for high breaking capacity of 1500 A at a rated voltage of 500 VAC

SHF 6.3×32 Fuse opens up many interesting field of application with its availability in cartridge as well as pigtail version

Vadodara, India, March 4, 2014 – SCHURTER’s Circuit Protection devices – Fuses have now expanded by adding a Model SHF Fuse 6.3×32. The new model complements the existing Fuse 6.3×32 series assortment for compact
protection for 3-phase systems , providing a complete range in ten rated currents from
1 to 8 A.

The new Fuse Model SHF Fuse 6.3×32 fills a gap in SCHURTER’s Fuse 6.3×32 product line and the market. The features and dimensions of Fuse 6.3×32 series are comparable to those with other 6.3×32 fuses and is similarly designed for high breaking capacity of 1500 A at a rated voltage of 500 VAC. Besides a wide range of applications in the energy and industrial sectors, the SHF 6.3×32 is especially well suited for the protection of 3-phase systems.

The SHF 6.3×32 is available with cartridge or pigtail version. Cartridge fuses can be used in clips and fuse holders, which allow easy replacement of fuses without de-soldering. SCHURTER offers a broad range of such clips and fuse holders suited for use with the SHF 6.3×32. The pigtail version allows direct assembly on printed circuit boards by means of through-hole technology and soldering.

As a fuse that conforms to RoHS, the SHF 6.3×32 can be put to use in lead-free systems. Its compatibility with competitor products allows SCHURTER to offer the SHF 6.3×32 as a form, fit and function substitute product. The SHF 6.3×32 fuse is cURus approved.
