Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd said that its Managing Director, Raman Bhatia, has been appointed as the Head of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Working Group on Energy & Green Economy under the SCO Business Council Secretariat (India).
With this role, Bhatia will lead discussions and coordination among 28 SCO member countries. The group focuses on areas like clean energy, sustainability, and green economic development. As Servotech works in EV charging solutions and power electronics, this will help expand its role in India’s clean energy and electric mobility space.
In his new position, Bhatia will work with policymakers and industry leaders from different countries to improve cooperation, share knowledge, and support the growth of clean energy solutions. The appointment also shows Servotech’s growing presence in the global renewable energy and EV charging sector.
Speaking on this, Bhatia said he is honoured to take up the responsibility at a time when global cooperation is important for faster energy transition. He added that the SCO platform will help bring countries together to drive innovation and build sustainable energy systems.
