Servotech & Watt & Well Partner To Manufacture EV Charger Components In India

The collaboration will focus on developing a 30kW Power Module and exploring Bidirectional Power Module technology for Vehicle-to-Grid applications.

Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. has signed an agreement with France-based Watt & Well SAS, a technology leader in power electronics. This collaboration aims to design, manufacture, and sell EV charger components in India.

The partnership will initially focus on developing a 30kW Power Module for India’s EV charging market. Additionally, both companies will explore the feasibility of producing a Bidirectional Power Module for Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) applications. Under the agreement, the company will handle manufacturing in India, aligning with the Make in India initiative, while Watt & Well will provide technical expertise. Servotech will also hold exclusive rights to market and sell these components in India.

Expressing enthusiasm about the partnership, Raman Bhatia, Founder and Managing Director of Servotech, stated, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Watt & Well to introduce advanced power electronics technology to India’s EV market. This partnership will help us manufacture innovative and affordable EV charging solutions at scale, reducing import dependency and strengthening India’s role in the global EV supply chain.”
