Boosting India’s chip ecosystem, SmartSoC partners with Korea’s DB HiTek to provide advanced foundry services for local design houses.
SmartSoc Solutions Pvt Ltd has announced a partnership with DB Hitek to expand access to advanced semiconductor fabrication technologies in India.
The collaboration, announced this week, positions SmartSoC as DB HiTek’s official Design Partner in India. Under the agreement, SmartSoC will promote DB HiTek’s foundry services, facilitate technical engagements, and serve as a local interface for Indian semiconductor design houses. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between India’s growing design ecosystem and global high-performance manufacturing capabilities.
The partnership comes at a time when India is promoting semiconductor manufacturing through production-linked incentive (PLI) schemes and increased investments.
