Tata Power Solar Launches Nationwide ‘#GharGharSolar’ Campaign

TPSSL has kicked off its campaign from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, to promote residential solar rooftop solutions across India, this initiative aims to foster widespread adoption of solar energy, leveraging the company’s extensive network and three decades of expertise in clean energy solutions.

Tata Power Solar Systems Limited (TPSSL), India’s leading rooftop solar company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), has launched its ‘#GharGharSolar, Tata Power ke Sangh’ national campaign from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The city, known as Sun City or Surya Nagari due to its many sunny days, was chosen for this launch.

The campaign was inaugurated by Dr. Praveer Sinha, CEO and MD of Tata Power, in the presence of Mr. Deepesh Nanda, CEO and MD of TPREL, senior company officials, and channel partners. This nationwide campaign aims to encourage consumers to install residential solar rooftop solutions, expanding the company’s reach across India and promoting the adoption of solar energy.

Dr. Praveer Sinha stated, “I am happy to launch our ‘Ghar Ghar Solar’ campaign from Jodhpur, the Sun City of India, to initiate a people-led clean energy movement. Tata Power is an experienced and technically advanced rooftop solar provider with a pan-India presence to support the faster adoption of rooftop solar. The company with over 34 years of expertise, has been a leader in the sustainable energy movement. This campaign aims to raise awareness about the benefits of solar rooftop solutions and reassure consumers of their accessibility through Tata Power Solar.

To enhance accessibility and affordability, the company aligns with the government’s initiative to promote solar energy in households nationwide. The company has partnered with financing institutions like Union Bank of India, SBI, Indian Bank, and PNB to offer varied financing solutions for rooftop solar installations. The company plans to promote solar rooftop adoption through its network of over 500 channel partners, aiming to expand this to 5000 channel partners and retailers to cover the entire country. The company offers solutions to meet diverse needs and budgets, providing financial benefits. It has served over 80,000 customers across India and has installed over 2 GW of rooftop solar capacity, holding a 13 percent market share and leading the rooftop solar EPC business for nine consecutive years.
