TeamUP: TeamViewer Launches its 1st Partner Program in Asia Pacific

  • The TeamUP program is designed to provide benefits to partners including resellers, distributors, managed service providers, and systems integrators
  • The program aims to improve collaboration with its channel partners and expand its reach in the APAC region, providing growth opportunities for all

In a press briefing held today, global remote connectivity provider TeamViewer launched its first partner program named ‘TeamUP’ for the Asia Pacific. It claimed to provide multiple benefits to its channel partners in the region. With the announcement of this program, Sojung Lee, President of Asia Pacific at TeamViewer mentioned that a unified partner portal went live today to enable partners to take advantage of exclusive discounts, dedicated support, and comprehensive sales training, along with a broad variety of certifications. As per TeamViewer, the TeamUP program aims to improve collaboration with its channel partners and expand its reach in the Asia Pacific region, providing growth opportunities for both TeamViewer and its partners.

At the press briefing, Ms Lee said that the program is available for all TeamViewer partners, independent of the solution they are selling, including TeamViewer’s workflow-based productivity solution Frontline for the first time. She explained that it features three tiers, Business, Premier and Champion, each with tailored discounts and benefits, like joint marketing campaigns and access to dedicated resources.

The official document released by the company listed the key elements of the unified partner portal including a deal-registration-engine, a tailored learning portal, and a marketing material database. The note added that it will contain insights into the current partnership status and the possibility to request benefits directly via the platform.

Ms Lee remarked, “Our partners are the key to our success. They bring valuable local expertise and networks that amplify our reach and help us deliver the best possible experience to our customers. We are thrilled to join forces with our partners to drive growth and create new opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.” Notably, the company held its APAC Partner Summit 2023 in Bali, Indonesia to enhance its channel ecosystem.

It is noteworthy that a few days back, TeamViewer brought a new integration for Slack, the leading collaboration platform for work. Earlier, the company had announced the availability of its enterprise Augmented Reality (AR) platform Frontline via Google Cloud Marketplace.
