Redefining EV convenience, Tesla launches Gurugram’s first Supercharger, promising faster and smarter charging for owners.
Tesla unveiled its first charging station in Gurugram, marking a major step in expanding electric vehicle infrastructure in India. The station, located at DLF Horizon Center, aims to provide Tesla owners with fast and flexible charging options.
Equipped with four V4 Superchargers delivering peak speeds of 250 kW and three destination chargers with 11 kW output, the facility caters to varied customer needs. Tesla noted that a Model Y can gain up to 275 km of range in just 15 minutes using the Superchargers.
“The company believes in creating the ecosystem. Our mission is to accelerate the transition towards a sustainable future, and EV adoption depends heavily on supporting infrastructure,” said Tesla India General Manager Sharad Agarwal. He emphasized that Tesla’s focus extends beyond cars to include charging solutions tailored to customer lifestyles.
The Gurugram Supercharging site represents Tesla’s broader vision for India, aiming to empower EV owners with seamless mobility solutions. By strategically placing high-speed chargers in accessible locations, the company hopes to accelerate EV adoption and contribute to a greener future.
