Preparing to scale its global footprint, TVS Motor is sharpening its strategy for a bigger push across key European markets.
TVS Motor Company is preparing for a broader push into Europe, targeting new markets such as Spain and Portugal as part of its global expansion strategy, Chairman Sudarshan Venu said during the company’s debut at EICMA 2025 in Milan. The move marks a strategic shift for the Indian manufacturer, which has traditionally focused on emerging markets across Latin America, Africa, ASEAN and South Asia.
With six new products unveiled at EICMA including the TVS Tangent RR Concept supersport, TVS eFX Three O electric motorcycle, M1-S electric maxi scooter, Apache RTX 300 adventure tourer, TVS X born-electric bike and RTR HyprStunt Concept—Venu said the company is ready to enter “industrialised markets.” The Apache RTX 300 is slated for its European launch in Q1 2026.
“I think it is the beginning of TVS’ progress towards industrialised markets,” Venu said. “With our expanding product portfolio, we see strong opportunities in Europe and will work to delight customers with products tailored for these markets.”
TVS Motor has already built a strong presence in multiple global regions, with two-wheeler exports rising 22.8 percent in 2024–25 to 10.9 lakh units. Exports accounted for 24 percent of its revenue during the period.
Expanding its European roadmap, the company will begin with Italy and gradually move into Spain and Portugal. TVS President of International Business, Peyman Kargar, described Europe as “a place that celebrates emotion and excellence in mobility,” calling the company’s EICMA presence the start of “a bold, new chapter.”
TVS will also leverage its British brand Norton in Europe, with sales expected to begin from March–April next year in the UK, Europe, and later in India and the US, with an India launch planned for summer 2026.
