Xiaomi to expand in India with Foxconn

March 17, 2015: Chinese consumer electronics company, Xiaomi, is under talks with electronics manufacturing services (EMS) giant Foxconn and Inventec for searching the possibility of jointly setting up a manufacturing facility for smartphones in India. The report was published in DigiTimes.

As per the report, the company has already held talks with regarding the location of the site however, they have not yet agreed on the schedule to be followed in order to execute the plan.
