New facilities in Mumbai and Gurgaon complement Bangalore hub to accelerate repair turnaround times for enterprise devices.
Zebra Technologies has expanded its repair services network in India with the opening of two new service centres in Mumbai and Gurgaon on Tuesday. The facilities are designed to support the American firm’s growing customer base across the western and northern commercial corridors.
Operated by authorised service partner Communications Test Design Inc. (CTDI), the new centres complement Zebra’s existing centralised hub in Bangalore. The expansion aims to optimize regional service delivery, reduce turnaround times for hardware repairs, and support digitisation across key domestic sectors.
Subramaniam Thiruppathi, Country Lead for India and the Subcontinent at Zebra Technologies, highlighted India as a critical growth market where enterprises in manufacturing, retail, transport, logistics, and healthcare are rapidly automating workflows. He noted that enhancing local service capacity to support clients throughout their technology lifecycles is vital to sustaining this growth.
The newly launched Mumbai and Gurgaon sites will focus exclusively on servicing and repairing Zebra’s mobile computers and printers. Meanwhile, the Bangalore hub will continue as the master service facility, handling the full suite of Zebra products, including barcode scanners, tablets, RFID systems, fixed industrial scanners, and machine vision equipment. Clients can manage service requests through Zebra’s existing online Repair Order Portal.
