Powering India’s ESDM sector, Zetwerk breaks ground in Bengaluru to expand electronics manufacturing for booming sectors like telecom, auto, and industrial systems.
Zetwerk Electronics has officially begun construction on its latest manufacturing facility located in Devanahalli, Bengaluru. The company announced the development on Wednesday, noting that the new plant is designed to boost its services in electronic system design and manufacturing (ESDM).
It will cater to rapidly growing sectors such as industrial automation, telecommunications, automotive technology, consumer electronics, and strategic components.
Zetwerk further stated that the facility will play a critical role in expanding its domestic manufacturing footprint and supporting the needs of high-demand industries.
Josh Foulger, who leads Zetwerk Electronics, remarked that the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to building advanced manufacturing infrastructure within India to support dynamic sectors with high-quality solutions.
According to The Economic Times, co-founder Rahul Sharma emphasised that the new site is a step to increase the company’s production capacity and better serve its clients through enhanced efficiency and innovation.
The expansion is being supported by collaborations with established industry players, which Zetwerk says are instrumental in ensuring quality and scalability across operations.
Zohra Khan, CEO of the India Printed Electronics Consortium (IPEC), described the project as a forward-looking investment that will contribute significantly to India’s competitive standing in global manufacturing.
This new plant adds to Zetwerk’s growing network of dedicated production units across the country. The broader network is designed to offer decentralised, cost-efficient, and scalable manufacturing solutions aimed at high-value markets.
