Developed in India, Ajeet drones offer intuitive controls, enabling efficient deployment across diverse missions.
Chennai-based ZUPPA Geo Navigation Technologies has delivered over 500 units of its ‘Ajeet’ series drones to the Indian Army over the past three months.
The deployment follows successful certification and testing conducted by the Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification Directorate.
Commenting on the development, founder and managing director Sai Pattabiram highlighted the growing importance of secure unmanned systems. He noted that with the increasing weaponisation of drones, building cyber-resilient and trusted indigenous platforms is critical for operations in electronic warfare-intensive environments.
Developed and manufactured in India, the Ajeet series is designed for ease of use and intuitive controls, enabling frontline personnel to deploy the systems efficiently across diverse mission scenarios. According to the company, the drones integrate a robust cybersecurity architecture with high-performance capabilities tailored to defence requirements.
