Isuzu Motors India has now revealed that they have finally produced 1,00,000 vehicles from its advanced manufacturing facility located in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. This achievement highlights Isuzu’s strong commitment to the Indian automotive market and signals its expanding footprint within the sector. According to the company, the popular Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross model, symbolizes the brand’s reputation for durability and reliability, attributes that have helped it gain trust and recognition among consumers.
Isuzu Motors India started its operations in 2016 with the establishment of its manufacturing facility in Sri City. To enhance its manufacturing capabilities, the company launched Phase-II operations in 2020, which included the inauguration of an advanced Press Shop and engine assembly plant. Since the commencement of these operations, the facility has produced over 14,00,000 pressed parts.
In response to rising market demand, Isuzu Motors India has doubled its vehicle and engine production over the past two years, demonstrating its capability to meet changing customer needs while maintaining the renowned global quality standards associated with Isuzu. Staying true to its long-term ‘Make in India’ strategy, the company has bolstered its operations for the domestic market and played a significant role in expanding Isuzu’s global presence.
