DSP-based solar hybrid UPS system/inverter
In August 2013, Tem Electronics Pvt Ltd introduced a DSP-based solar hybrid UPS system/inverter with an in-built 40A zero drop charge controller and energy meter. It offers several features that save electricity, ensure high-end performances and a low cost of maintenance. The solar hybrid inverter can provide power to the connected load by using the photovoltaic (PV) power, utility (mains) power and battery power. When PV energy is good it will charge the connected batteries; when the battery voltage reaches at 14.3 V, the relay will turn on and this inverter will convert power to the connected loads from solar energy and the batteries. When PV and battery power are not sufficient for the connected loads, the system will source power from the utility (mains).
