In October 2014, Keysight Technologies launched the N5193A UXG agile signal generator. The product has a fast frequency, phase and amplitude switching at 250 ns combined with the phase repeatability or phase continuity options. It has wide chirps (10-25 per cent of carrier frequency) and long pulse trains using list based pulse descriptor words and rear panel binary or BCD interface. It comes with a great phase noise of -126dBc @10kHz @10GHz. The product is equipped with all the instrument security features and has a coherence between units. It has a target mean time between failure (MTBF) of 75,000 hours.
