Mouser Electronics expands its India operation

Emphasizing its commitment to the Indian market, Mouser Electronics, has opened  its new and larger customer service center and back office support location in Bangalore.

The new full-service office underscores Mouser’s steadfast dedication to serving the world’s top design engineers and buyers with the highest degree of customer service and technical support, as well as offering local marketing support to its suppliers and media partners in the region.
“Sales throughout India are up by more than 20 percent this year, with no sign of slowing down,” said Mark Burr-Lonnon, Mouser’s Senior Vice President of APAC and EMEA Business.

“We are seeing an impressive gain in unique customers, which makes us a major player in the Indian market,” Burr-Lonnon said. “Our sales success in India means that we need to increase the levels of local support we offer to our customers here. With that in mind, I am very pleased to announce the opening of our new, larger full-service office with even more team members to better serve our customers. With the number of engineers in India rapidly growing, it’s fast becoming a new hub of design.”

In an upcoming program through the IESA, Burr-Lonnon and Kevin Hess, Mouser Electronics Senior Vice President of Marketing, will deliver keynote presentations on “The Changing World of Distribution” and “The Internet and Its Impact on the Electronics Market,” Their presentations will also address how the industry fights counterfeiting as well as the increasing importance of marketing.
