IIM Kashipur, evACAD Partner For Sustainability Leadership Programme

Climate leadership meets classroom as IIM Kashipur and evACAD team up to train professionals from various sectors in renewable energy and sustainable business practices.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur, Uttarakhand, has entered into a collaboration with Nagpur-based pManifold EV Academy Pvt Ltd (evACAD) to jointly offer programmes in sustainability, electric vehicles (EV), and renewable energy technologies.

Under this collaboration, the two institutions will introduce executive development and postgraduate certificate programmes to equip professionals with skills in climate action, green energy transition, and sustainable business practices.

The programme, under the name of ‘Post Graduate Executive Certificate Program in Net Zero Strategy and Sustainability Leadership,’ targets professionals from sectors such as energy, engineering, finance, and sustainability.

It aims to help participants lead climate-conscious transformations within industries, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), government agencies, and the social sector.

The partnership was formalised through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), signed by Prof. Kunal Ganguly, Dean (Development) of IIM Kashipur, and Mr. Rahul Bagdia, Chairman and Managing Director of evACAD.

Faculty and administrative representatives from both institutions were present during the signing.

Commenting on the matter, Mr Bagdia, noted, “This collaboration will help us impart the same values and knowledge to the next generation of management leaders whom the industries will look upon to steer the challenging task of transitioning to a net-zero future.”

“While IIM Kashipur has made its mark as one of the foremost management schools in India, with this partnership and programme, we seek to position ourselves at the forefront of training business leaders and managers who are looking for critical inputs towards attaining Net Zero,” said Prof. Ganguly.

evACAD is a training-focused entity working in the areas of electric mobility, renewable energy, and sustainability, offering technical education aligned with industry and policy needs.
