CleanMax Launches 185 MW Hybrid Energy Project in Gujarat

In FY 2024–25, CleanMax reported revenue of ₹3,426 million from Gujarat

CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions (CleanMax) has commissioned a 185 MW wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project at Kalavad in Gujarat, further strengthening its presence in the state. With this addition, the company’s total operational capacity in Gujarat has reached 844 MW as of March 31, 2026, supplying green energy to 17 corporate customers.

The project, developed over approximately 12 months, enhances CleanMax’s hybrid energy portfolio and supports more consistent, round-the-clock renewable power supply for industrial demand. It operates under the group captive model, allowing customers to invest equity in the project while sourcing clean energy.

Notable customers include Apar Industries Limited and Borosil Renewables Limited.

In FY 2024–25, CleanMax reported revenue of ₹3,426 million from Gujarat, accounting for around 30% of its renewable energy power sales, highlighting the state’s strategic importance. Favorable regulatory support from the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission, including improved open-access and banking provisions, continues to drive adoption of hybrid renewable solutions among commercial and industrial consumers.
