In his new role, Gupta will lead the company’s GaN business
Navitas Semiconductor has recently announced the appointment of Saranjit Gupta as Vice President and General Manager of its Gallium Nitride (GaN) Business Unit.
Saranjit has almost 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. The industries he has expertise in are microcontrollers, power semiconductors, and wireless technologies. Before joining Navitas, he was in leadership positions at Renesas Electronics, Infineon Technologies, and Cypress Semiconductor, where he contributed to product strategy, business development, and technology innovation.
In his new role, Gupta will lead the company’s GaN business, focusing on accelerating growth and expanding customer adoption across key markets, including AI data centres, energy and grid infrastructure, high-performance computing, and industrial electrification.
Navitas expects Gupta’s experience in business leadership, product strategy, and customer engagement to support the company’s efforts to scale its GaN portfolio and strengthen its position in the rapidly growing power electronics sector.
