EvChargeX Partners With IIT Delhi Tech Hub to Build EV Platform

The collaboration aims to deploy an end-to-end, indigenous commercial electric two-wheeler platform featuring advanced battery-swapping technology.

Electric mobility solutions provider EVChargeX—the EV brand under EFLOMOB Mobility Pvt. Ltd.—has announced a strategic partnership with IIT Delhi-incubated EVI Technologies (EVIT) and the Delhi Research Implementation and Innovation (DRIIV) cluster to develop a comprehensive, fully domestic electric two-wheeler ecosystem for commercial operations.

The collaboration brings together EVChargeX’s expertise in fleet management and charging logistics alongside EVIT’s technological research and development capabilities, which are backed by key institutions including the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), Electropreneur Park, and the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India.

The joint initiative aims to deliver a fully integrated commercial electric mobility platform, covering, Purpose-built commercial electric two-wheelers, Advanced swappable lithium-ion battery modules, Automated battery-swapping station (BSS) networks and smart chargers, Cloud-based battery and energy management software, Real-time telemetry and fleet operational oversight, Specialist training for drivers and maintenance personnel

By embedding high-density battery-swapping infrastructure directly into its commercial operations, EVChargeX seeks to significantly diminish downtime, optimise total cost of ownership for commercial users, and enhance daily productivity for gig workers.
