Percepio Appoints Andreas Klintemyr as Product Lead

Percepio’s portfolio currently includes Percepio Tracealyzer, Percepio Detect, and Percepio DevAlert

Percepio AB has appointed Andreas Klintemyr as Product Lead as the company enters a new phase of product development and growth.

Klintemyr will support Percepio’s product strategy as the company expands beyond its Tracealyzer platform toward Continuous Observability across the embedded product lifecycle, covering development, testing and deployment.

Percepio’s portfolio currently includes Percepio Tracealyzer, Percepio Detect, and Percepio DevAlert, which are designed to help engineering teams understand, diagnose and monitor complex embedded systems.

Klintemyr joins Percepio from Electrolux Group, where he most recently served as Senior Product Manager, following his role as Connectivity System Integration Manager. His experience spans connected products, robotics and technology development, including work on robotic cleaning technologies for which he is named as an inventor on several patents.

He holds an M.Sc. in Mechatronics and Hydraulics from Linköping University, where he conducted thesis research on energy-efficient hydraulic systems in collaboration with Volvo Construction Equipment.

According to Percepio, Klintemyr’s experience in developing complex connected and autonomous products will complement the company’s expertise in embedded software observability.

“Embedded software development is entering a period of rapid change, driven by AI, increasing system complexity, new development workflows, and continuously evolving product lifecycles,” said Andreas Lifvendahl, CEO of Percepio. “Andreas Klintemyr brings a strong combination of customer insight, technical expertise, and product leadership.”

Klintemyr said his experience includes developing and maintaining IoT-connected devices, launching products and managing over-the-air (OTA) campaigns. He added that AI-assisted software development and evolving regulatory requirements are increasing the need for greater visibility into embedded systems throughout their lifecycle.

He began his new role by meeting Percepio customers and partners at Microchip’s annual MASTERs conference in Phoenix, where he engaged with the embedded systems community and gained insights into challenges faced by developers of increasingly complex connected products.

With the appointment, Percepio aims to strengthen its product organization and further develop tools that enable engineering teams to understand, diagnose and improve embedded systems throughout their lifecycle.
