Essemtec Announces New Headquarters and Customer Demonstration Centre

The centre currently features Essemtec’s FOX Ultra All-in-One platform

Essemtec has recently announced a new U.S. headquarters and customer demonstration centre in Woburn, Massachusetts. The agenda behind this expansion is to support electronics manufacturers.

The new facility combines office space, customer collaboration areas, training facilities and a demonstration centre. It will help manufacturers to evaluate the company’s surface-mount technology (SMT) placement and dispensing solutions.

The centre currently features Essemtec’s FOX Ultra All-in-One platform and Tarantula dispensing system, along with a range of dispensing valves for customer evaluations, process development and application testing. A Lizard reflow oven is also planned for installation to expand its capabilities for complete manufacturing process evaluations.

According to Essemtec, the facility will enable customers to conduct live demonstrations using their own products, validate dispensing and placement processes, compare manufacturing approaches and assess solutions before making investment decisions.

“The opening of this new headquarters represents much more than a new office. It reflects our commitment to being closer to our customers,” said Olivier Carnal, General Manager of Essemtec. He added that the centre would provide manufacturers with an environment to evaluate solutions and work with the company’s experts to develop efficient production processes.

Frank Hart, Director of Essemtec USA, said customer interest in demonstrations, application evaluations and benchmark testing had been strong even before the facility’s official inauguration.

In addition to its new East Coast facility, Essemtec supports customers through demonstration capabilities at Technica USA on the West Coast. The facility offers access to the PUMA Ultra All-in-One platform and Tarantula Underfill system.

Together, the two locations are intended to provide electronics manufacturers across the United States with greater access to equipment demonstrations, process development support and technical expertise.

The opening marks another step in Essemtec’s North American growth strategy, with the company aiming to strengthen customer collaboration and support manufacturers seeking flexible production equipment and advanced dispensing technologies.
