Promoting sustainable farming in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, drone-based agritech company AgriWings expands spraying services to South India.
AgriWings, a company specialising in drone-based spraying services, is expanding its operations to South India, focusing on key agricultural regions in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. This expansion includes areas such as Ballari, Guntur, Kalwakurthy, Khammam/Warangal, Nandyal, Piduguralla, and Palnadu.
The company has claimed that the move is a part of its broader vision to make advanced drone technology accessible to farmers nationwide, improving crop spraying precision and promoting sustainable farming practices.
Boasting to be India’s first ISO-certified agritech drone spraying service provider, AgriWings, a service by D2F Services Private Limited, has already established operations in Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
“Our expansion into Andhra Pradesh marks an exciting chapter in our journey to bring cutting-edge technology to India’s farmers,” says Mr Vidur Varma, CEO of AgriWings. “We believe that innovation should be accessible to all, and with each step, we aim to empower farmers to adopt sustainable practices that will benefit not just their crops but also their communities and the environment.”
Offering cost-effective solutions that enhance crop yields, the company eyes to equip farmers to reduce input costs and promote environmentally friendly practices. Curtailing reliance on traditional chemical spraying methods, Agriwings looks to provide them with more efficient and precise alternatives that save time and resources.
However, the company has not disclosed the financial investment behind this expansion.
