Antaisolar has recently collaborated with Ghana’s governmental renewable energy developer, BPA, and the national frustration contractor FSG. Through this partnership, Antaisolar to provide ground mounting systems for a 50MW PV power plant in Yendi, Ghana.
“As a developer of large scale PV schemes, an experienced and organized supplier of major components are very critical to the success and longevity of projects in order to achieve return on investment,” said by deputy director of BPA. He added, “The selection of Antaisolar as the supplier of the fixed tilt mounting structures of the 50MW Project in Ghana was done based on the track record of the company both in their local market and that of the international market, the company has been in existence beyond the warranty periods that they promise to its customers. This goes to show how good their brand is as compared to others. A recent visit to their factories gave the needed confidence in their products as the operations at the factories are done in accordance to international standards and testing.”
During the agreement signing ceremony, Jasmine Huang, CEO of Antaisolar, expressed, “We are delighted to collaborate with BPA and FSG to inject new momentum into Ghana’s renewable energy industry. We believe that through this project, Antaisolar will have positive impacts on local economic and environmental sustainability.”
Situated close to the equator, Ghana boasts ample solar energy potential, making it a promising hub for the photovoltaic (PV) industry. The Ghanaian government is committed to enhancing its energy mix by emphasizing renewable sources. Their ambitious goal is to install 150 GW of PV electricity capacity by 2026 to achieve net-zero emissions.
