The collaborations establish a framework for Arrow, TIoTA, and TESA to work together on initiatives
Arrow Electronics has recently inked a deal with the Thai IoT Association (TIoTA) and the Thai Embedded Systems Association (TESA) to support technology innovation and strengthen Thailand’s electronics ecosystem.
The collaboration has created an ecosystem for Arrow, TIoTA, and TESA to promote together the acceptance of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), embedded systems, and industrial digitalisation.
There are multiple planned initiatives such as technical seminars, engineering workshops, and industry engagement programs aimed at enhancing engineering capabilities, encouraging knowledge sharing, and accelerating innovation across Thailand’s electronics sector.
Dr. Raphael Salmi, president of Arrow Electronics’ semiconductor business for South Asia, Korea, and Japan, said innovation requires not only access to technology but also the expertise to integrate it and bring solutions to market efficiently. He added that by working with TIoTA and TESA, Arrow aims to help engineers and technology companies overcome complexity, strengthen engineering and supply chain capabilities, and access the resources needed to move ideas from concept to commercialization.
TIoTA President Dr. Suthat Krongchon said Thailand’s IoT ecosystem is creating new opportunities for digital innovation across industries and that Arrow’s technology portfolio, engineering resources, and global industry experience can provide valuable capabilities to the association’s network. He added that the collaboration is expected to support technology adoption, innovation, and long-term industry competitiveness.
TESA President Associate Professor Wiroon Sriborrirux said the advancement of embedded systems and intelligent technologies depends on strong industry collaboration. He noted that Arrow’s expertise in components, engineering, and supply chain services can help connect Thailand’s engineering and technology community with advanced technologies and practical development resources that support talent development and ecosystem-wide collaboration.
This deal has showcased the dedication of all three organisations towards strengthening engineering capabilities, accelerating technology adoption, and supporting collaboration across Thailand’s technology ecosystem.
