Bringing drones to the grassroots, AVPL International and CSC e-Governance unite to equip rural entrepreneurs with technology, training, and tools for smarter, safer farming.
AVPL International (AITMC Ventures Ltd.) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CSC e-Governance Services India Limited (CSC SPV) to promote the use of drone technology among rural entrepreneurs across India.
The collaboration aims to provide access to agricultural drones, spare parts, and training through CSC’s nationwide network of village-level entrepreneurs (VLEs).
Under the partnership, AVPL International’s Viraj UAS agri-drones and related products will be made available via CSC’s digital platform, which connects over 500,000 VLEs. The initiative is expected to support rural entrepreneurs in adopting drone-based services for agricultural applications such as crop spraying, monitoring, and yield estimation.
AVPL International will also offer training programmes on drone operations, maintenance, and data management to enhance technical skills and create income opportunities in rural areas.
The company stated that the collaboration aligns with national initiatives such as Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Skill India, by promoting local manufacturing and self-reliant technological development.
Speaking about the partnership, Dr Preet Sandhu, Founder and Managing Director of AVPL International, said: “Through our association with CSC, our mission of creating one drone entrepreneur in every village becomes a significant milestone. We aim to empower CSC centres with drone technology to enhance income and enable advanced services.”
CSC SPV will facilitate the onboarding of AVPL’s products on its platform, providing visibility and outreach support to its channel partners. AVPL International will also extend after-sales assistance, maintenance, and warranty services for products sold through CSC.
