Reported a 14.9% profit before tax in Q3 FY 2024-25, with total revenue increasing by 6.2% despite market challenges.
Bosch Limited has reported a 6.2% year-on-year increase in total revenue from operations, reaching INR 4,466 crores (495 million euros) for Quarter 3 of FY 2024-25. This growth has been driven by increased service income from the development of automotive components for major OEMs.
The company’s Profit Before Tax (PBT) excluding exceptional items stood at INR 665 crores (74 million euros), representing 14.9% of the total revenue—a rise of 8.6% compared to the same quarter last year. Meanwhile, PBT including exceptional items was recorded at INR 618 crores (69 million euros), or 13.8% of revenue. Bosch Limited made a provision of INR 47 crores for restructuring initiatives to stay competitive in the electro-mobility sector.
Profit After Tax (PAT), including exceptional items, was reported at INR 458 crores (51 million euros), accounting for 10.3% of total revenue.
Business Performance Overview
- Automotive Segment: Overall product sales increased by 1.6% compared to Q3 of the previous year. However, the Power Solutions business, which makes up 71% of total automotive sales, declined by 1.8% due to a slowdown in the Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV) segment, linked to reduced economic activity.
- Mobility Aftermarket: This division recorded 8.8% growth, fueled by higher demand for diesel systems, automotive batteries, and lubricants.
- Beyond Mobility: The segment saw 1.5% growth, driven by strong performance in Power Tools.

He stated, “Despite challenging conditions, we continued to achieve double-digit profitability. Our focus on customer-centric technology and strategic expansion has been instrumental in this performance.”
Strategic Developments
The company has announced the realignment of its Building Technologies division. The company will transfer the Video, Access, Intrusion, and Communication Systems business to Keenfinity India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Bosch Security Systems B.V. Nederland. The transaction has been approved at a minimum value of INR 595 crores.
Mudlapur also highlighted the company’s active participation in the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, showcasing Bosch’s innovations in hardware, software, and services for safe and sustainable mobility. “We remain optimistic about our growth trajectory and deepening engagements in emerging technologies,” he added.
