Cyient Semiconductors has acquired a majority stake in Kinetic Technologies for $85 million, marking a strategic move to strengthen capabilities in power management and semiconductor innovation.
The investment will enable Kinetic to accelerate R&D in next-generation power management, analog, and mixed-signal technologies, while expanding its engineering resources and global reach.
The partnership also allows Kinetic to tap into India’s growing semiconductor ecosystem, including access to skilled talent and manufacturing partners.
Kinetic will continue operating under its existing structure, ensuring continuity for customers while leveraging Cyient’s global platform. Both companies aim to drive innovation in high-growth sectors such as AI data centres, automotive, industrial automation, and communications.
