The alliance allows Arrow’s partners to seamlessly incorporate Akamai’s offerings into multi-vendor solutions
Akamai Technologies has entered into a strategic partnership with Arrow Electronics to distribute its cloud computing, security, and application delivery solutions via Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business.
As part of the collaboration, Arrow—an existing member of Akamai Partner Connect—will enable its vast network of channel partners to access Akamai’s platform through its technology vendor ecosystem. The partnership is aimed at simplifying procurement, onboarding, and billing processes for customers seeking integrated cloud and security services.
The alliance allows Arrow’s partners to seamlessly incorporate Akamai’s offerings into multi-vendor solutions. Akamai’s platform spans advanced security tools, application delivery capabilities, and cloud infrastructure tailored for distributed and hybrid environments.
Commenting on the development, PJ Joseph said that Arrow’s extensive channel relationships, along with its engineering and marketing strengths, will significantly enhance the reach and impact of Akamai’s portfolio.
Matt Brennan added that the partnership strengthens Arrow’s ability to support channel partners amid evolving enterprise requirements across cloud, security, and application delivery domains.
Arrow, which provides IT solutions across cloud, data centres, networking, security, and software, will integrate Akamai’s offerings into its existing vendor portfolio, expanding solution choices for enterprise customers.
The partnership comes as Akamai continues to scale its market presence. The company, with a market capitalisation of $16.87 billion and annual revenue of $4.21 billion, has seen its stock rise significantly over the past year, reflecting growing demand for its cloud and cybersecurity solutions.
In parallel, Akamai has been advancing its innovation pipeline. Recent developments include the launch of AI-powered tools such as Akamai Brand Guardian to combat impersonation threats, and enhanced AI capabilities within its Guardicore Segmentation platform to automate network security controls. The company has also secured key contracts, including a data communications agreement with the State of Montana, further strengthening its position in the enterprise technology landscape.
