  • Explore an extensive selection of products tailored to diverse industries like automotive, healthcare, industrial automation, communication systems, and more.
  • These offerings are engineered to supercharge system performance, streamline testing, and broaden design horizons.

Element14 has unveiled the latest additions to its product portfolio from Analog Devices (ADI). Precision and performance are central in the dynamic world of engineering and technological progress. ADI provides an extensive selection of products tailored to diverse industries such as industrial automation, healthcare, automotive, communication systems, and beyond. From top-tier accelerometers and adaptable analogue switches to advanced radio frequency (RF) amplifiers and MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) switches, these offerings deliver unmatched capabilities to elevate system performance, simplify testing, and expand design horizons.

Among the fresh arrivals at element14, a range of ADI products that include:

ADXL314 3-Axis AECQ100 Qualified Digital Accelerometer: This automotive-certified accelerometer provides an expansive ±200 gee full-scale range and 13-bit resolution for precise sensing across various applications. A compact 5 mm x 5 mm x 1.45 mm  Lead Frame Chip Scale Package (LFCSP) package offers versatility with a wide temperature range of up to 125°C, triaxial output, and digital interface (SPI or I2C) for seamless integration. It features a 32-level FIFO (First In, First Out) buffer, low power mode, and a high output data rate, ensuring accurate shock event capture. These capabilities enhance safety and efficiency in challenging automotive scenarios like tire and battery monitoring and crash detection.

  • EVAL-ADXL314Z Board: This user-friendly evaluation board is designed to assess the accelerometer capabilities quickly. Its easy setup is ideal for evaluating the accelerometer within an existing system, and its compact, sturdy construction minimises any impact on the overall strategy and the accuracy of acceleration measurements.
  • ADG1412L Analog Switch: This monolithic (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor)CMOS device, utilising the iCMOS process that combines high voltage CMOS and bipolar technologies, offers four independent switches. During bidirectional signal switching, it maintains consistent on-resistance over the analog range for excellent linearity (typical 1.5 Ω). Featuring four independent Single Pole Single Throw (SPST)  switches, it activates with a Logic 1 signal, conducting equally well in both directions. It accepts input signals that extend to the supplies, blocking them when off. It supports flexible lower logic control via an external load voltage (VL( supply, compliant with 1.2 V and 1.8 V JEDEC standards. Its versatility suits various applications, including automated test equipment, data acquisition systems, battery-powered devices, sample-and-hold systems, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and microcontroller setups, audio and video signal routing, communication systems, and relay replacement.
  • VAL-ADG1412LEBZ Board: It functions as the evaluation board for the switch, incorporating four independent SPST switches that activate with a Logic 1 signal. It accommodates 1.2/1.8V logic-input signals from FPGAs or MCUs through single inline headers. Passive components can be easily added using surface-mount device (SMD) pin resistors or capacitor sockets. Input and output signals are adaptable via Small And Midsize Business (SMB) connector sockets, and power connections are facilitated through three screw terminals. Additionally, a 5-pin header is available for user-defined digital voltage.
  • ADL8106-EVALZ Board: This 4-layer printed circuit board (PCB) features ground layers on the internal and bottom sides. The RFIN and RFOUT ports on the board come equipped with 1.85 mm female coaxial connectors, with the corresponding RF traces maintaining a 50 Ω characteristic impedance. Components on the board are selected to ensure functionality across the entire operating temperature range, spanning from -40 °C to +85°C.

The most recent ADI product releases are available in EMEA through Farnell, North America through Newark, and APAC via the company.
