In response to the growing demand for skilled professionals in the electric vehicle (EV) and clean energy sectors, evACAD is expanding its course offerings and geographical footprint.
evACAD, an e-Mobility & Sustainability Education company, has recently announced two new flagship programs aimed at upskilling engineers, business professionals, sustainability consultants and energy transition experts.
The first program, a Post Graduate Executive Program in Net-Zero Strategy and Sustainability Leadership, is being developed in partnership with the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur. Set to launch later this year, this 11-month course will combine academic instruction with practical projects and is targeted at mid-career professionals seeking to lead sustainability initiatives within corporations and public institutions. The curriculum covers topics including ESG frameworks, carbon markets, renewable energy integration, as well as e mobility and decarbonisation strategies.
The second, focused on the application of artificial intelligence in e-Mobility, is scheduled to begin in November 2025. Designed for learners from diverse backgrounds, the course introduces foundational AI concepts and coding techniques and explores their relevance in areas such as battery diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and fleet optimisation. The program seeks to make advanced AI tools accessible to those without prior experience in data science, broadening the talent pipeline for digital roles within EV companies.
Rahul Bagdia, Chairman and Managing Director of pManifold (evACAD), explains, “To support these and upcoming programs, evACAD is developing an AI-powered learning platform aimed at delivering personalised learning experiences and offering career support services. By leveraging learner profiling and industry insights, the platform will recommend relevant course modules, showcase practical projects, and connect students with partner organisations for industry know-how and hands-on training.” He adds, “This platform will go beyond just delivering content — it will serve as an ongoing career support system, helping participants thrive in the rapidly evolving green economy.”
Bagdia notes that evACAD, which has already served learners from more than 50 countries through its online programs & training workshops, is now working to establish partnerships with academic institutions in Africa, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. Through these collaborations, evACAD plans to implement hybrid learning models that integrate virtual instruction with in-person lab work and local mentorship. The initiative aims to customise course content to reflect the unique characteristics of regional EV ecosystems, while also sharing successful strategies from other markets. These efforts aim to support talent development in countries that are accelerating their electrification efforts but lack sufficient local training resources.
Additionally, evACAD has recently embarked an initiative, developed in coordination with the Sri Sri Rural Development Program Trust (SSRDP), part of the Art of Living, that will deliver hands-on training for EV technicians in smaller towns and rural areas. The effort targets existing two-wheeler mechanics and informal sector workers, providing them with practical skills in EV repair, battery servicing, and electric drivetrain maintenance. The program includes the establishment of regional training hubs, instructor certification, and modular, competency-based assessments.
evACAD is positioning itself for a new phase of institutional growth and is collaborating with prominent Industry partners. It plans to launch multiple programs in green hydrogen, charging infrastructure and green finance in the next 12 months to build high-quality skilled engineers and professionals who can spearhead the technology revolution and ground-level implementation in these emerging sectors.
