Electric mobility solutions provider EVChargeX—the EV brand under EFLOMOB Mobility Pvt. Ltd.—has announced a strategic partnership with IIT Delhi-incubated EVI Technologies (EVIT) and the Delhi Research Implementation and Innovation (DRIIV) cluster to develop a comprehensive, fully domestic electric two-wheeler ecosystem for commercial operations.
The collaboration brings together EVChargeX’s expertise in fleet management and charging logistics alongside EVIT’s technological research and development capabilities, which are backed by key institutions including the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), Electropreneur Park, and the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India.
The joint initiative aims to deliver a fully integrated commercial electric mobility platform, covering, Purpose-built commercial electric two-wheelers, Advanced swappable lithium-ion battery modules, Automated battery-swapping station (BSS) networks and smart chargers, Cloud-based battery and energy management software, Real-time telemetry and fleet operational oversight, Specialist training for drivers and maintenance personnel
By embedding high-density battery-swapping infrastructure directly into its commercial operations, EVChargeX seeks to significantly diminish downtime, optimise total cost of ownership for commercial users, and enhance daily productivity for gig workers.
The partnership announcement follows the rollout of EVChargeX’s inaugural physical operational hub in the Chandigarh Tricity region. Co-founded by Dilawar Gulia and Riplav Satija, the business offers a broad array of services ranging from electric scooter rentals for last-mile delivery workers to residential, commercial, and intercity bus charging setups.
