Schneider Electric has announced a strategic partnership with Taiwan-based technology manufacturer Hon Hai Technology Group, widely known as Foxconn, to accelerate the development and deployment of infrastructure for next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) data centres.
Under the collaboration, the two companies will combine their respective strengths to deliver integrated AI-ready data centre solutions. Foxconn will contribute its expertise in advanced manufacturing and AI systems, while Schneider Electric will provide technologies focused on power distribution, cooling systems and energy management.
The partnership is designed to address the growing demand for high-performance AI computing infrastructure as organizations expand investments in generative AI, machine learning and large-scale data processing applications.
The companies said the joint offering will focus on delivering pre-engineered and scalable AI data centre solutions that can be deployed more efficiently to support increasing compute requirements.
Production related to the collaboration is expected to begin later this year, marking the next phase of efforts by both firms to strengthen the global AI infrastructure ecosystem.
