Hero Electric to Expand its Presence in India, To Open 15 New Dealerships

Hero Electric has about 610 sales and service outlets spread across India and sold nearly 3 lakh electric two-wheelers in the country

Hero Electric, India’s leading electric two-wheeler company, announced that it is further expanding its dealer network in Eastern and Central parts of India that will lead to strengthen the company’s network across all major markets.

The company is planning to open 15 new dealerships in the coming two months. The facilities for the dealers include advanced services, a fleet of well-trained and highly qualified professionals who will ensure the highest levels of after-sales service and solutions to the prevailing customers, the company said.

These 15 new dealerships will be opened across cities such as Amta (West Bengal), Timarani (Madhya Pradesh), Pratapura (Chhattisgarh) and Hazipur (Bihar), among others.

The company has recently expanded its network by opening eight new dealerships in the cities of Guwahati (Assam), Kaithal and Rohtak (Haryana), Una (Gujarat), Shirwal (Maharashtra), Baranagar (Madhya Pradesh) and Thenkasi (Tamil Nadu).

More touch points in two years

Recently, the electric two-wheeler maker reached the 600 touch points mark in the country. The company has plans to introduce more than 1500 touch points in the coming two years in order to reach even the most interior parts of the country.

Speaking about the expansion plans, Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric India, said, “At Hero Electric, we aim to provide ecofriendly mobility solutions to people. We are proud to have the largest dealer network across the country and recently crossed 600 touch points.”

“Our eco-friendly products are accessible to many more people across India, enabling every Indian to have a chance to use zero emission, sustainable mobility solutions from Hero Electric. We are planning to open over 1500 touch points in the next 2 years to penetrate the most interior parts of the country,” he said.

Hero Electric, one of the oldest and biggest electric vehicle brands in India, has about 610 sales and service outlets spread across India. Currently, the company has sold nearly 3 lakh electric two-wheelers in the country.
