The agreement marks a significant step for India’s aerospace manufacturing ecosystem in supplying precision components for commercial aviation programs.
India’s Jeh Aerospace has signed a five-year long-term agreement with Liebherr‑Aerospace & Transportation SAS to manufacture and supply high-precision components used in landing gear systems for high-rate commercial single-aisle aircraft programs.
Under the agreement, production will be carried out at Jeh Aerospace’s Hyderabad facility, integrating the Indian manufacturer into Liebherr-Aerospace’s global industrial supply network. The partnership strengthens India’s growing role in advanced aerospace manufacturing, particularly in safety-critical aircraft systems.
Landing gear manufacturing is widely regarded as one of the most technically demanding areas of aerospace production. Components must meet extremely tight dimensional tolerances, comply with rigorous certification requirements, and maintain uninterrupted delivery reliability to support high-volume aircraft assembly lines.
Jeh Aerospace has already supplied more than 200,000 flight-critical aerospace components without any recorded quality escapes, demonstrating its capability to handle complex precision manufacturing programs.
Martin Wandel, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS, said the company looks forward to working closely with a partner that has demonstrated strong operational performance and manufacturing excellence.
Vishal R. Sanghavi, Founder and CEO of Jeh Aerospace, described the agreement as a significant milestone, noting that landing gear systems represent one of the most safety-critical structures on an aircraft and require the highest levels of precision engineering.
The collaboration highlights rising confidence in Indian aerospace suppliers to deliver high-accuracy components for next-generation commercial aviation programs operating at increasing production rates.
