Celebrating 10 years of Indian Innovation Icons, the Marico Innovation Foundation will recognise groundbreaking innovations across sectors, with seven winners to be honoured in its Mumbai event in March.
The Marico Innovation Foundation (MIF) is set to host the 10th edition of its event, ‘Indian Innovation Icons’, on 6th March 2025 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
The event, previously known as the ‘Innovation for India Awards’, will unite leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and changemakers. According to MIF, for the last decade, the ‘Indian Innovation Icons’ programme has identified and supported transformative innovations from various sectors; more than 65 innovations to date.
In 2023, the previous edition of the event recognised six innovations, such as Dhruva Space, a space technology company; Ishitva Robotic Systems, an AI-powered waste sorting solution; Dozee, a contactless remote monitoring system for e-ICUs; and Khushi Baby, an eHealth platform for community health monitoring.
This year’s edition will focus on seven innovations selected from over 1000 entries in telecommunications, space technology, water management, manufacturing, assistive technology, and education.
The selected winners will share their experiences and insights through TED-style talks, offering attendees an opportunity to learn about these innovators’ journeys and challenges.
Furthermore, they will also get digital and PR exposure, executive coaching, exclusive storytelling training, and access to MIF’s InnoWin Day in April 2025 in Mumbai, where they will connect with investors, corporate leaders, and grantmakers.
Additionally, winners will be eligible for MIF’s Scale-Up accelerator programme, provided they meet the necessary criteria.
“India’s innovation ecosystem is witnessing phenomenal growth, with entrepreneurs and changemakers driving solutions that have a local and global impact,” noted Harsh Mariwala, Founder of the MIF, highlighting why innovations are critical in India’s rapid economic growth and sustainability challenges.
“By bringing together innovators, leaders, changemakers, and investors, we strive to create an ecosystem where innovation thrives and scales,” said Suranjana Ghosh, Head of Marico Innovation Foundation.
