MiPhi Semiconductors, a joint venture between Micromax Informatics and Phison Electronics, has appointed Nupur Shrivastava as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), as the company expands its operations and builds capabilities in India’s memory, storage, and AI infrastructure markets.
Shrivastava brings more than two decades of experience in human resources and organisational leadership across technology companies including Intel, Arm, Nokia, and Honeywell. She has worked with business and executive leadership teams on organisational design, leadership development, succession planning, talent strategy, transformation, and M&A integration.
Prior to joining MiPhi, Shrivastava served as Head of People and HR Senior Director for Intel India and APAC. In the role, she led people strategy across more than 10 countries, supporting functions including engineering, product, foundry, sales, and corporate operations.
At MiPhi, Shrivastava will lead the company’s people and organisational strategy. Her responsibilities will include building leadership capabilities, strengthening talent acquisition and development, shaping organisational culture, supporting workforce expansion, and developing the organisational foundation for the company’s next phase of growth.
Rahul Sharma, Co-founder of MiPhi Semiconductors, said that people and culture are as important as technology and product development to the company’s long-term ambitions. He added that Shrivastava’s experience with global technology organisations would support MiPhi in attracting talent, developing leaders, and building a high-performing organisation.
Shrivastava said her decision to join MiPhi was driven by the opportunity to help shape the company’s organisation and culture during its growth phase. She added that building the business and creating a strong workplace environment need to progress together.
