Ondas has won a $56 million order for safety-critical Electronic Safe & Arm Devices supporting European loitering munitions, expanding its precision-strike electronics business.
Ondas Inc. has secured a $56 million order for Electronic Safe & Arm Devices (ESADs) supporting a European loitering munition programme, expanding its participation in the European precision-strike market.
ESADs are safety-critical electronic devices that manage the safety, arming, and initiation functions of munitions. In loitering munitions, they sit between the weapon platform, mission logic, and energetic payload, directly affecting system safety and reliability. Their engineering, qualification, and manufacturing-consistency requirements create high barriers to entry and limit the number of qualified suppliers.
The order was secured through Bron Technologies, which Ondas recently acquired along with GATE Technologies. GATE develops ESADs and electronic fuzing technologies for loitering munitions, UAVs, missiles, and rockets, while Bron provides European manufacturing, certification, and market access through its Poland operations.
“This is the first ESAD order we have announced since closing the GATE and Bron acquisitions, and it is a substantial one,” said Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas. He added that safe-and-arm and electronic fuzing are “mission-critical layers of the precision strike stack” and that European programme demand is accelerating.
Ondas said the programme is moving into production with already-qualified technology and an existing manufacturing base. Oshri Lugassy, Co-CEO of Ondas Autonomous Systems, said the immediate focus is delivering on schedule, maintaining consistent quality, and scaling production according to customer requirements.
The order gives Ondas exposure to recurring demand for specialised electronic components as European defence customers seek qualified technologies, resilient supply chains, and scalable production.
